Wood Records Co. proudly announces the release of “BONE!”, a high‑voltage collaboration between rising artist MattyInk and the enigmatic LORD SCORE.
Dropped on November 28th, 2025, the single marks Ink’s 16th official release and first-ever collaboration with LORD SCORE.
A partnership sparking earlier this year after SCORE and Matty connected through the latter’s SUN TZU music video.
“BONE!” arrives as a gritty, hard‑hitting anthem for young Americans navigating today’s economic climate. Built around a punchy call‑and‑response hook – “throw me a bone!” – the track spotlights the exhaustion and frustration of a generation working long hours for shrinking returns. The opening line of the song sets the tone immediately, “work six days, I ain’t even been home, don’t make no pay, … throw me a bone!”
A Wicked Music Video Directed by MattyInk
Just weeks after the single’s debut, MattyInk backed it up with a self‑directed music video created in collaboration with LORD SCORE. The visual expands the world of “BONE!” into a surreal, glitch‑infused narrative landscaping the duo’s sonic ideations.
The video opens with Ink on a couch playing Super Nintendo until the game freezes blasting a loud static fuzz. After restarting the console, LORD SCORE hijacks the TV signal with a pirate broadcast. From there, the takeover spreads across all screens in the house, even a painting in the living room becomes a conduit for SCORE’s transmission. The world of “BONE!” bleeds into MattyInk’s reality.
In its second verse, the video shifts moods: a masked bank robber steps into the frame of the painting, unzips a backpack of tools, reveals the BONE! video game cartridge, and then covers the “viewer’s” vision with a plastic bag as a symbolic act of obscuring the truth that Ink’s shadow self conspires alongside SCORE in this ossein heist.
The result is a cryptic, stylized visual statement that mirrors the track’s themes of frustration, pressure, and rebellion.
